Ride along the banks of world-famous Jacob's Creek and its sprawling estate, a tour of the historic Tanunda township, including the Barossa Regional Art Gallery and a coffee at Darlings Food With Passion. We'll then head off to David Franz for lunch to savour spectacular views over the valley and up to the ranges. Part providore and part winery this is an exquisite lunch experience mixing a range of smoked meats, local cheeses and some of the finest pates' in the Barossa, with an exceptional wine list to match made by famous Barossan, Dave Lehmann. Sit in the stunning garden or grab a pew around the barrels inside the original stone cellar door, this is an experience to savour.
On our return trip we'll ride to Chateau Tanunda for a tour of this historic winery, a seated tasting of its Chateau Single Vineyard Wines and a game of croquet on its age-old pitch. A world-class estate, we’ll linger at Chateau Tanunda to enjoy this centuries-old game of strategy and fun, fittingly played on the grounds of the grand, heritage-listed estate. Enjoy a leisurely hour of friendly competition with a glass of Chateau Tanunda’s wine in hand before heading off to St Hallet Wines, where you'll finish with a beautiful Chocolate & Wine Experience, pairing three hand-crafted chocolates with the perfect wine match from St Hallet’s cellars. Return along the bike trail riding past the majestic St Hugo Cellar Door with its incredible views of the Barossa Ranges.
