Coast and Co offers guests at The Louise a backstage pass to the Barossa, delving behind the 'velvet rope' at three of the region's renowned wineries.

Since winning the prestigious Jimmy Watson award in 1993 for their Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Elderton has been celebrated as one of the very best winemakers in the country. Today the Elderton Command Shiraz is truly one of Australia’s best and most highly regarded icon wines. It’s fitting to begin the day with a private tasting in the dining room of the original Ashmead homestead.

Afterwards, head to local favourites Otherness or Vintners Bar and Grill for lunch with matched wines.

Enjoy Henschke’s Distinguished Tasting which includes their top single-vineyard wines presented along with informative stories about their history and background.

Last but not least, visit Phil Lehmann’s homestead and vineyard in the Eden Valley for a private tasting. Phil has great international experience having completed vintages in Stellenbosch, Napa, Burgundy and of course the Barossa. He’s currently making a small selection of elegant wines from his own vineyard, under his own label, Max & Me.
