The day begins at the Jimmy Watson award-winning Elderton Wines, a renowned Barossa estate with vineyards dating back to 1894. Enjoy a private wine tasting in the dining room of the original Ashmead homestead and prepare for some big, generous reds.

Next, visit Standish Wine Company for an exclusive tasting hosted by sixth generation Barossan, Dan Standish. Diligence and the ability to say ‘no’ are core hallmarks of Dan’s philosophy in the winery, which can see as much as 80% of the blends sold off, to ensure that only the finest material is sold under the Standish label. Standish Wines are not open to the public and there is no cellar door so it’s a real privilege to get behind-the-scenes access.

Later in the afternoon, meet Phil Lehmann for a private 4WD tour through his estate in the beautiful high country of the Barossa. Soak up the Max & Me story and sample limited release wines alongside homemade sourdough, local cheeses and Boongarrie Estate grown olive oil.
