The Louise is partnered and affiliated with a number of like-minded organisations and is a proud founding member of Luxury Lodges of Australia.
At The Louise, we strive to be the finest in experiential luxury encompassing food, wine and culinary tourism in South Australia, celebrating the bounty of the Barossa’s fine food, world-class wine and people.
BOOK NOWAs a thriving and growing hospitality business in the luxury culinary tourism sector, we take our commitment to our guests, our employees, our community and to the sustainable environment of our planet as a balanced expectation that we exist to add value to each of these ‘stakeholders’. Small Luxury Hotels calls this “caring luxury”, our sustainability partner refers to this approach as “ecoluxury”, we prefer to use the term “committed luxury”.
Jim and Helen Carreker, owners since January 2005 of the property known for many years as Peppers Hermitage or The Hermitage at Marananga, have spent more than ten years researching and ultimately selecting the Barossa Valley and the stunningly beautiful Marananga hilltop site for their Australian food and wine venture.
