Guests will move seamlessly between vineyard view suites, long table dining at Appellation and FINO, and behind the scenes estate encounters that bring 175 years of winemaking to life.

  • 21 August 2026 – Arrival and Seppeltsfield Welcome

    Arrive at The Louise from early afternoon and be greeted by General Manager Hannah McCormick and the lodge team. The rest of the day is yours to settle into your suite, read a book in the cosy speak easy, wander the surrounding vines or simply sink into the quiet of the Barossa with a glass in hand.

    As the sun dips behind the vineyards, gather at The Louise for welcome drinks and canapés hosted by Seppeltsfield Chief Winemaker Fiona Donald. It’s a relaxed introduction to your hosts and fellow guests, with the first glasses setting the tone for the weekend ahead and offering a taste of Seppeltsfield’s current releases.

    The evening continues at Appellation, where a four course tasting menu showcases seasonal Barossa produce in a warm, candlelit setting. Seppeltsfield wines are carefully matched to each course and presented by Fiona, with suggested pours including a special release Sparkling Red for the 175th anniversary or a Seppeltsfield Apera arrival cocktail, single varietals from the Village range and selections from the Bench Blend range.

  • 22 August 2026 – A Day at Seppeltsfield

    Begin your day with a leisurely breakfast at The Louise, taking in the rolling vineyard views and soft Barossa light. There’s time for a stroll through the vines or a quiet start on your suite terrace before setting off for Seppeltsfield Estate.

    At Seppeltsfield, you’ll be welcomed for a hosted estate experience that takes you behind the scenes of this iconic Barossa property. Your tour may include historic sites such as the Homestead and the architecturally striking Gravity Cellar, with Fiona sharing insights into Seppeltsfield’s past and present along the way. In the Great Terraced Vineyard, the Vineyard Manager will welcome you among the rows to taste Great Terrace Vineyard Grenache in the very place the grapes are grown – a true terroir moment.
    Lunch is a four course celebration at FINO Restaurant on the estate, where a relaxed, produce driven menu is paired with Seppeltsfield wines. Suggested pairings include Grenache Rosé, Village Grenache and Single Vineyard Shiraz from the Grounds range, with each course designed to show the versatility and character of the Barossa.

    In the afternoon, you’ll step into the famed Centennial Cellar for a private tour and tasting. Here, you’ll have the rare chance to taste directly from barrel, including a sample of the 1926 100 Year Old Para Vintage – a highlight for collectors and wine lovers alike. Afterwards, there’s time to explore the wider Seppeltsfield Estate precinct at leisure, visiting artisan craftspeople and the JamFactory gallery.

    Returning to The Louise, sunset drinks ease you into a more casual Barossa evening. At Contour Restaurant, a shared two course dinner brings a relaxed, bistro style energy, with a selection of Seppeltsfield Village and Bench Blend wines poured alongside. If the weather allows, the night ends fireside under the stars, with toasted marshmallows and a glass of Tawny by The Louise fire pit.

  • 23 August 2026 – A Gentle Barossa Farewell

    Your final morning unfolds at your own pace. Enjoy breakfast at leisure at Appellation, perhaps followed by a last wander through the vines or some quiet time on your suite terrace soaking in the quiet stillness of the valley.

    Departures begin mid morning, with the option to extend your Barossa stay or add further regional experiences before or after the weekend.
